The Challenge
One of Novuna Vehicle Solutions’ clients required a bespoke vehicle capable of supporting two different operational roles throughout the year.
During the spring and summer months, the vehicle needed to safely transport mowing equipment used for grounds maintenance. In the autumn and winter months, the same vehicle had to support road maintenance activities, requiring a different load configuration.
The challenge was to design a vehicle that could adapt to both operational needs without requiring multiple specialist vehicles, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness for the client.
What We Did
While MIS Conversions is fully equipped to support large-scale fleet deployment programmes, the team also specialises in bespoke vehicle conversions tailored to specific operational requirements.
For this project, MIS designed and built a custom hybrid vehicle combining a beavertail body with an aluminium side tipping system.
This unique configuration allows the vehicle to be used for:
- Mower transportation and stowage during peak grass cutting seasons
- Road repair and maintenance operations during quieter winter periods
The bespoke design ensures the vehicle remains practical and efficient across different operational demands throughout the year, helping maximise utilisation.

The result was a versatile, purpose-built vehicle capable of adapting to seasonal work requirements.
