The Challenge
HomeServe required a reliable partner capable of delivering a complete vehicle conversion solution for its expanding fleet of service vehicles. Each vehicle needed to arrive with engineers fully equipped and ready to begin work immediately upon delivery.
The challenge was to create a fleet vehicle conversion specification that could support the day-to-day operational needs of engineers and tradespeople, while also ensuring safety, durability and consistency across a large fleet.
The solution also needed to be fully project managed, ensuring the conversion process ran efficiently from vehicle arrival through to final delivery.
What We Did
MIS Conversions Ltd worked closely with HomeServe’s Fleet Manager and Operational Managers to develop a tailored vehicle conversion specification that meets the practical needs of engineers in the field.
Each vehicle was fitted with Vantage Systems crash-tested van racking, providing a robust and organised internal storage solution. The conversion programme also included a range of additional features designed to improve efficiency and protect the vehicle, including:
- Inverter systems
- Onboard compressor systems
- Protective internal linings
- Customised storage and equipment layouts
Beyond the installation itself, MIS Conversions provided complete project management, coordinating every stage of the process from vehicle intake through to final delivery.
